Beyu Caffe (pronounced be-you) successfully wraps a coffee shop, restaurant, bar, and live jazz club into one unique Durham business venture. Guests of Morehead Manor love to visit Beyu Caffe located at 341 West Main Street in Durham, North Carolina.
  • Their specialty coffee and espresso drinks range from locally roasted coffee and traditional coffee beverages (including lattes, mochas, and cappuccinos) to both signature coffee drinks and coffee cocktails (such as Oprah Mocha, Caramello Macchiato, and Irish Coffee).  They also offer non-coffee beverages such as herbal teas, chai lattes, and bottled sodas. 
  • Their restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, in addition to a special brunch menu on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. They offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menu options. Their yummy desserts include Beignet Napoleon, Bread Pudding, Creme Brulee, and Vegan Chocolate Mousse. 
  • Beyu Caffe offeres a full bar ranging from bottled wines, craft beers on draft, and quality cocktails and martinis. 
  • Their live jazz club supports both local artists and students while also bringing in national recording artists including Grammy award winners Branford Marsalis and Roy Hargrove, to Grammy nominated and national recording artists, Dionne Farris, Carolyn Malachi, Nnenna Freelon, John Brown, and Cyrus Chestnut.  

Owner Dorian Bolden’s goal is for Beyu Caffe to be “the ultimate community gathering place where our passion for great atmosphere, great experience, and great service, will allow each guest and employee to Be You”!  

We feel the same way about Morehead Manor, our #1 black-owned bed and breakfast in America (according to Black Enterprise magazine).
